Purpleheart and sycamore
This is my interpretation of what would happen if you bend and push in the sides of an imaginary rectangular piece of clay that has thirty purpleheart buttons carved onto its surface.
The natural purple color of purpleheart and the sycamore's blonde color results in a pleasing contrast. No paints or dyes are used in the construction of this piece. Both your visual and textural senses are excited by the look and feel of this box.
This box measures approximately 4 1/2" (front) x 6" (back) x 3 3/4" (width) x 3" (height)
