This pear shape came to me in her engagement ring from the 70's. It was on a yellow shank in the center of a bow tie of small square diamonds. She had seen some full coverage pieces that had interested her. I convinced her to step up in melee size from the micro-pave she had been considering. The final design centers the pear shape between two half carat half moon cuts. This island is surrounded by another eighty nine stones totaling a bit over 2.25 carats total weight. The ring is crafted in 18K white gold and the total diamond weight is just over six and a third carats.
