The natural colors in the wood and the play of light on the fabric background give the piece life and movement. The background fabric is a velvet like magenta. The frame is colored to compliment the fabric. The wood is from consecutive slices of walnut. The wood is mounted an inch off of the fabric to give the piece depth. The overall size is 23 7/8' x 21 7/8".
