Three way fun! Two ounces each of black BFL x merino lambswool, medium gray luscious CVM (California Variegated mutant), and white Targhee x merino wool. All next-to-skin soft, all fun to spin, and waiting for that project where neutrals become the star.
These are three compatible wool rovings. Maybe you just can't choose and want to try each of them, but maybe you do have a project in mind. I just decided to offer them as a package because they looked great together.
This listing will be for six ounces total. If you need different amounts, I have plenty of all rovings at this time.
Black BFL X merino lamb from Barb Barnett at Barnett Sheep Wool in Plainfield, IA. Barb breeds her sheep for fiber length, luster, and softness. This is a fine crimpy fleece.
Gray CVM from Jenny's Spindling Fibers in Cedar Falls, IA, Sheep is Michelle, beautiful girl. CVM sheep retain the softness of merino with longer staple length and great colors.
White is a Targhee X merino ram from Ranching Traditions in Montana, graded at Bradford count 62-64's. Again, longer staple length 3 inches or more and very soft.
All US small producer fiber!
