Unisex Bone-Inspired Copper Bracelet

Who would have thought that a simple thumbprint would make a great design for jewelry? This elegant cuff bracelet is made of solid copper, which I molded using a series of thumbprints. The outcome looks like a metal bone because of the clean indentations. To enhance the design of the cuff, I applied patina to the entire surface. The piece shown in the photos measures 5 1/2'' inches, but I can adjust the size according to your specifications.

Stacy Jay created an amazing piece of jewelry for me recently. While deployed in Afghanistan I contacted her via email asking the possibility of having her bone inspired cuff made in silver instead of copper. She responded, adding that she had never made one in silver but looked forward to the challenge. She kept me informed on the project with emails ensuring that what she was creating was in fact, exactly what I wanted and delivered the most uniquely hand crafted piece of jewelry I have ever owned. I appreciate the time she took in creating my bracelet and am so impressed that I am quite certain this heirloom will remain in my family for years to come. Straight up, it is way cool!
    Cheers, Stacy Jay
