This is a reproduction of an 18th century tilt top table believed to have come from the Derby house in Salem, MA. It is made from solid mahogany and features cabriole legs and snake feet. No shortcuts were taken with this piece, the legs are joined to the post with dovetailed tenons and coped shoulders. The most intriguing part of this piece is the barley twist featuring a bead in the cove and reversing direction two thirds of the way up the post. This table can be made to any height.
