Toasting Glasses In Bocote (Wedding And 5th Year Anniversary)

Glasses turned on a lathe from a single block of Bocote to be used for the toasts at the celebration of a fifth anniversary. These glasses are turned in a traditional style and are fully functional. The finish on them is walnut oil and carnauba wax on the exterior and mineral oil and beeswax on the interior to make them completely usable.

They stand roughly six inches high and one and one-half inches across and, following the tradition of the Irish Wedding Goblet, each pair is made from a single solid block, both cut from the same timber.
