About Our End Grain Boards:
Your knives will thank you later along with your grandchildren.
To achieve the End Grain, the wood is cut into strips, glued together, flattened,and then cut again. It is then flipped on its side to expose it's End Grain.. From there it is sanded and finished. Once the surface is finished, the End Grain makes the board more durable and easier on the knives, minimizing how often they need to be sharpened. With proper care, these boards can be used for generations to come.
All of our Cutting Boards are assembled with FDA approved materials and are sealed with natural beeswax and food-safe mineral oil leaving a silky wax barrier that locks in moisture to prevent drying and cracking.
