I love to make "Treasure Chests". In another listing I have pics of a few smaller ones. This one is the largest I make and is 29" tall x 40" wide x 20" deep. As you can see in the pictures, the interior comes with a removable tray. The bottom slats of the tray and the case are spaced apart and have partial openings to the outside for ventilation.
The materials and construction of this case are of the highest caliper. The outside and base of the chest are made of solid and thick (1/8") shop-made veneers of Wenge. The interior and bottom slats of the case and the tray are Ishpinga and the red details are one of the Rosewoods, called Tulipwood (not to be confused with tulip poplar, an American hardwood). All in all making this a gorgeous addition to your home.
The hinges are high quality wrought iron.
As I said above, I make these in various sizes and have a listing were you can customize one of these in a variety of woods from domestic to exotic and, of course, recycled-reclaimed woods and materials.
