Built from flat sawn red oak, this piece was an original duplicate from Kathy Kuo Home designer. The piece is discontinued and the customer requested a similar piece stain in black and then lightly sanded to bring for the beautiful grain of the wood to show light and dark tones in black and chocolate color. Finished in Matt to highlight the grain and not take away from the piece with layers of gloss that would deflect its beauty. The art work weights roughly 150lbs because of the red oak being so dense but will last years to come because red oak is so rugged and durable. Comes in any size, this one being 80w X 14d X 26h.
