Two Piece China Cabinet In White Lacquer With Stained Top

We designed & built this two piece china cabinet in white lacquer to go in the dining room of a 1920s Bungalow in the Heights area of Houston.

By using a combination of white lacquer, glass doors and end panels, and halogen lighting in the upper cabinet, we were able to make the piece large enough to be very functional--i.e. hold a lot of china and stemware--without feeling overbearing in the fairly small dining room.

And by tying the new cabinetry stylistically to the existing trim & moulding in the room, we were able to make it look as if the piece were original to the 1920s construction.
