Wisconsin Union Stained Glass Installation
Commissioned by the University of Wisconsin - Madison, this is a set of three architectural stained glass pieces which hang as permanent installations in the Union South student union. The design, glass-work, and custom maple wood framing were all completed before the opening of the Union with help from Mark's dad, Gereon.
The pieces are meant to match the prairie style of the building and the steadfast spirit and image of the Wisconsin Union. It is also meant to reflect peace and warmth suitable to a coffee house.
The title of the installation is "Be Bold in the Rain"
