This hippo came in a large lot of used toys I picked up last month, and after unloading and sorting through the toys, I promptly forgot about it and accidentally left it on a shelf in our workroom. Earlier this week, while searching for drill bits, I looked up and there was the hippo, staring at me with its mouth wide open and begging to be refinished. How could I say no to a greeting like that? As soon as the first coat of silver went on, there was no looking back :)

This air plant is incredibly easy to care for. It doesn't require soil, so it's simply placed in the planter but can be removed and changed out at any time. Tillandsia absorb water through their leaves, so it just needs to be run under the faucet or dunked in a glass of water once a week and put near bright filtered light. I'll include a care sheet with every planter for your reference.
