I usually stick to dinosaurs when searching for used toys to upcycled into planters, but when a customer requested an elephant, I went on the search and found a bin of old safari style toys. There were a pair of tigers in there and I couldn't resist trying out a wild color combo on this jungle cat. Hot neon pink paint is accented with silver stripes and he's rocking it out!

This air plant is incredibly easy to care for. It doesn't require soil, so it's simply placed in the planter but can be removed and changed out at any time. Tillandsia absorb water through their leaves, so it just needs to be run under the faucet once or twice a week and put near bright filtered light. They even thrive under office fluorescent lighting!
