Upstairs, Downstairs Art Quilt
Here is a delightful cutaway view of a four story Victorian home. This scene features very tiny satin stitched and raw edge appliques with three dimensional embellishments including silk flowers in the flowerboxes and indoor plants. Two realistic wood grain fabrics were used to create the woodwork and the furniture. Complete with Grandmother's old Singer sewing machine and lace curtains! The Scottie dog on the stone steps welcomes a visitor. Measurements are 17-3/4" wide x 55-3/4" high, includes double fold binding and a built in sleeve for hanging. This fun pattern was designed by Joan Statz of Alberta, Canada and is used with permission and gratitude.
