Turned from a strangely-shaped aged piece of cherry burl, this is more of an all-purpose vessel than a bowl. One way of thinking about burl is that it's end-grain that goes in all directions: this makes it quite hard to turn, but also gives it that unique look. The skew-centered rim emphasizes this piece's individuality. 5 1/2" tall, 7" mouth.
