This is restoration project of two Vico Magistretti Veranda sofas we did for a client in Portland earlier this year. The foam was in very poor condition and we replace most of the outer layer of foam and in some places all of the foam was replaced. After cutting away the old wore out foam on each chair unit we put each chair into a fiberglass and wood mold and poured new foam into the mold which bonded to the old chair, giving new life to these chair units that make up the sofas.
We may consider making these sofas if anyone is interested in having one or more of these unique and comfortable sofas.
