Victorian Bustle Day-Dress

This dress was made for a museum staff member for her living history presentation as Mary Miller, the first female steamboat captain in the US. She decided on the bustle style of 1884 made in a small cotton check. She already had the necessary corset and bustle to wear with this dress.

This dress is in three pieces: bodice, underskirt, and bustled overskirt.
