Vintage 1920s Silk Satin Art Deco Wedding Dress With Peplum And Crystal

PLEASE ASK TO SEE MORE PICTURES - IVE GOT ABOUT 20 - SO MANY DETAILS!

I can imagine Jean Harlow sauntering down the aisle in this one of a kind stunner! The dress is made of a medium-heavy weight silk satin with a v cut low waist band across the hips in bias to hug your curves in all the right places.. The deep v cut upper portion of the skirt is trimmed with an extra full circle cut peplum which goes all the way up over the hips in the back. The peplum's hem is trimmed in a pattern of three beads of twisted glass and one swarovski crystal bicone bead (I beaded this gown myself with the highest quality beads). The lower portion of the skirt which comes from under the peplum is a double full circle skirt also trimmed in the same beaded pattern, so that as you walk, you throw rainbows all around you from the swarovski crystals! The neckline is a modest "v" cut in front and back, and is trimmed in looped "flapper" style beading of ascending lengths of draped loops in the same swarovski and twisted glass beads. I have up close pictures of all the beading, so please do ask to see it! :) The back is lightly gathered in to where the dress fastens with metal snaps all the way down to where te peplum meets.
This dress is in excellent condition for its age, with just one small rub at the bottom of the skirt, on the circle skirt portion, but it isn't discolored or noticeable unless you seek it out up close. This dress is nearly 100 years old and still fabulous, the fabric is incredibly sturdy!
