Vintage 1920s Wedding Dress In Silk Satin Lace And Rhinestone Art Deco Bridal Gown Slinky S

PLEASE ASK FOR MORE PICTURES - I HAVE TONS MORE :)

Sumptuous, Sexy, Silky bridal gown all the way from the roaring 20s.. The gown is made os the softest silk satin. The dress is not bias cut, and is authentic 20s, not 30s. The satin dress has an off the shoulder cut which is held up by the most beautiful and delicate floral lace outlined with black threading. Two satin straps finish the neckline through the lace and criss cross in front and back just above the "v" cut neckline. In the back, the neckline dips much farther down, gorgeous! The sleeves are fitted and lined, but with a gathered "bell" sleeve overlay which starts at the bicep and goes to just above the elbow. The bodice is ruched in front, back and each side, and the ruching is secured with a double row of rhinestone banding in front and back, and a single row of rhinestone banding at either side. The skirt has triangular cut inserts at either side to add a bit of volume in the most flattering way!
The dress fastens at the side with several fine metal snaps and a hook and eye to securely fasten the waist. The dress has no rips(!) and no odor. Some of the lace was torn when I modeled the dress, but I replaced it with lace from the head piece, which was just more of that gorgeous lace. The dress also has a faint lipstick (?) mark on one of the satin straps along the neckline, a subtle water mark on the bust and the rhinestones could use a few stitches to better secure them. Other than that, this dress is just perfect, and rarely so, for a dress that is nearly 100 years old! Most silks would have shattered, but this silk satin must be a strong weave, as the fabric is brilliant. You're looking at an heirloom dress that should be kept and cherished forever. So beautiful.
