So you've found your Prince and now you must end your quest for the perfect gown? This 1946 wedding dress made of satin, lace, pearls and many layers of tulle has resurfaced to fulfill just such a fantasy!
The gown features a strapless bodice of satin with a lace overlay and pearls and sequins adorning the bust. The waist dips into a deep V in front and back, then the waist springs out with a small scalloped tier of cotton calais lace, then 4 main layers of stacked and gathered tulle. Beneath the skirt is extra full along with all the gathered tulle, so that when you take a spin the whole skirt flutters up in the air like a swan taking flight.
This dress is in Good vintage condition, there are a few very small spots on the tulle, but I have not attempted to wash them out, or remove them in any way, and they will surely come out at the drycleaners. I have replaced the old fake pearls with new GENUINE freshwater pearls for a little extra touch of luxurious glamour!
Waist to Hem 43"
