HURE TABLE - Built to order by Vintage Industrial LLC of Phoenix
I have a love for the old cast iron bases made from the late 1800s to the 1940s. A French machinist named P. Hure built many different lathes and milling machines that stood on them. They are rare and very hard to find, especially in America, so I built this base as a tribute to him. It's built with 1/4″ thick steel which is the heaviest gauge we've used to date. And the large connecting screw has a 2″ diameter with a 3″ nut that holds the two bases together. It's massive and curvy lines blend well to support the thick worn oak top. As always, this piece can be customized to suit your needs, with different tops, as a desk with drawers, different heights, colors, etc. The base is available separately (around $3495) , and we have plans to make this into a coffee and side table.
The conference table pictured, and for sale in this listing, is 20' long x 60" wide x 30" tall. The mahogany top is built in 2 sections which makes it easier to ship and install, and there are 4 bases to support the massive top. Total weight is around 1000 lbs. We can add metal trim around the edge like the picture below for an additional $1500, dataports run around $700/set. This table is made to order with a 6-10 week lead time, please contact us for an exact time. We can customize it in many ways too.

Most of the Industrial style furniture you find on the internet and in stores is made in Asia, mainly India and China. Often the quality is not so good. And the designs are often copies of somebody else's work (like mine). So if you are thinking of buying elsewhere, I suggest you ask the shop owner where the piece was made. We've been doing this since 2009 and have such notable clients such as: MGM, Doubletree, Hyatt, The Four Seasons, and many more commercial establishments.
