Here is a barn find I thought I would offer to the CustomMade faithful. This is a circa 1940's student desk for two students before they had the hinged top writing surface. This desk measures 40" wide for two students and 33" deep. The center hole is for a ink well and the pencil channels are hand done. The mortise and tenon construction is a testimony to the quality of the construction of days past. The finish looks original and is unbelievably very well preserved. It is without the usual painted finish that is found on this kind of piece when someone has it in their home. This was found in an old barn in the South Florida area and is still very solid. I will palletized it with a full crate top to protect it for shipping. Shipping costs will vary per your location and if a residential or business address.
