Custom made couture quality bridal or gala event women's cloche hat. Vintage inspired and made using traditional fabrics and millinery techniques. The hat base is made from 100% cotton buckram fabric and is hand formed over a wooden hat block. The buckram crown and brim of the hat are covered in a textured shantung nubby ivory fabric. I have applied a Alencon lace applique with glass beads, sequins and pearls in ivory. There is a draped ivory satin band around the crown with highlights of a elaborate swirling stylized rose. The brim and the inside of the crown have been wired for security and form.
