Vintage Style Train Station Canopy
For the most absolute vintage look and feel, nothing could come closer than an old train station canopy. From the riveted channel columns, to the ornamental bracing and the pine beadboard roof slats, this design is truly timeless. The project pictured was fabricated and constructed for Le Pain Quotidien in Union Station, Washington D.C. Its overall size is roughly 16' at its widest and 42' long. We also integrated factory style windows for a divider between spaces. Due to construction logistics, this piece was built all from aluminum, and bolted together, but any other can be built from steel. Almost any dimension of this structure can be customized to fit your specific project. Feel free to ask any questions about the project, or how I might be able to adjust it to fit your design criteria. Preliminary pricing is based on a Linear foot cost.
