This was burned on basswood with a pine 1" cradle on the back. A piece may also be burned on 1/8"-1/4" thick Baltic birch wood panel.
The photo shown is a 14" sq on basswood and took over 80 hours of burn time. This piece has won a total of 3 awards for 2 juries shows in the last 2 years.
