Walking Staff - Walking Stick - East Indian Rosewood - Ebony - Brazilian Cherry
This cane is made of tropical hardwoods.
The maximum custom cane length for the walking cane is 42" and may be made to your custom length. Please request cane length when inquiring.
This walking staff/stick is top is made of East Indian Rosewood and Ebony wood spacer. The shaft is Brazilian Cherry wood. The top section is 6" length and diameter of the knob is about 2". These tropical woods are dense and strong.
Wood color is natural and the durable top coat finish is CA glue finish commonly used by wood turners. The shaft of the cane is tapered; the rubber tip (7/8"), and replacements are found at drug or medical supply stores.
Just before shipping the handle and shaft of the cane are joined with a steel dowel screw and epoxy glue making a very strong joint. Customizing the cane shaft with another wood species is an option and customer can convo through email prior to purchasing with desired changes.
I have made this walking staff as tall as possible because I know many customers like to hold the staff handle from the side instead of overhanded. Convo through email if you would like cane and staff height suggestions.
Not only are walking canes/ sticks good for steadiness but they can also be used as a tool for personal protection.
