Walking Stick/Cane, Take Me Out To The Ball Game
I have attached a cool old baseball to a 7/8ths inch oak shaft then hand-carved the first stanza to the song Take Me out to the Ball Game
"Take me out to the ball game.
Take me out with the crowd.
Buy me some peanuts and Cracker Jack,
I don't care if I never get back.
Let me root, root, root for the home team.
If they don't win it's a shame.
For it's one, two, three strikes, you're out!
At the old ball game."
For fun, I gradually increased the size of the lettering for the line, " For it's one, two, three strikes, you're out!" because that is the way the song is sung. This is a great piece for any baseball fan.
