I am very pleased with the timeliness, professionalism and quality of product in regard to my customized walnut vertical knife block. I very rarely provide product reviews, however Denny and his product impressed me so much I felt compelled to offer this review. I would not hesitate in contacting the Debner's for these custom products.
This convenient sized walnut and ash chess board is 8 3/4" square with one inch squares for travel chess pieces. It is 3/4" thick and folds in half with three brass hinges for stability. There are four small plastic "feet" inserted on the bottom to set the board comfortably on a flat surface.
This board has been sanded to 220 grit for an extremely smooth surface and was finished with three coats of beeswax, paraffin and food safe mineral oil, that we also use on our custom kitchen cutting boards.
