Walnut And Curly Maple Cutting Board
This was my first cutting board with mortise and tenon joinery for the ends. It was a wedding gift for a client who let me simply create something beautiful. It is constructed out of figured walnut and curly maple. I used dovetail keys to both add interest to this cutting board, but also hold the checks together.
