Walnut Bookcase

Highly figured walnut was cut and stacked 40 years ago on the customers family farm in PA. Three identical bookcases were commissioned. This design respects arts and crafts directness of line and proportion but pursues another innovative direction.
A relatively new invention for joinery allows for mortise and tenon type attachment while controlling opposing wood movement, the chief reason for premature wood joinery failure.
