A client asked us to make a solid walnut cutting board, which she would place on a counter top, between her stove and refrigerator. The dimensions are 33 1/2" L x 25 1/2" W x 1 5/8" thick.
It is hand rubbed with several coats of food safe beeswax, paraffin and vegetable oil. To best clean it, we suggest that it is not submerged in water but cleaned with a mild soap and water mixture. Periodic re-coating of this type of food safe mixture, as stated above, will keep this board long lasting and beautiful. It can be used in the kitchen, bar, etc. and though it is heavy, it provides ample space to cut a lot of vegetables or meat, to create a great meal.
