My friend's father just passed away, he was a hobby farmer and an avid skier, so I wanted a frame made of barnwood with mini skis to give to her. Natural shapes highlight these walnut cutting/serving boards. Sized from 10-16 inches long, 3/4 inch thick, with a natural edge dictated by the outside edge of the log. The bark has been removed and the board has been shaped and sanded to 220. It is then treated with several coats of food grade cutting board oil. (this should be done each month, forever)
