Walnut Parsons Style Desk With Granite Top
This 30" x 60" x 31" tall desk is built in the Parsons style with added emphasis on joinery at the corners. American black walnut with a natural finish was used for both the legs and apron. A slab of metallica granite with a honed finish was precisely cut to fit the base.
The apron joinery utilizes large box joints along with 1/2" square pegs of Peruvian walnut for visual impact.
The desk features a 24" wide drawer. It has an electrical outlet under the top that is supplied through a channel within the right rear leg.
