a 14" is, local walnut tree slice balances about 36" off the ground on this steel chain stand. it has been welded still - but don't stand on it to change a light bulb!

seriously, it's plenty strong to place drinks, play cards, put a lamp on it, whatever. but it does get a little bouncy if you lean to hard on it!

but who cares, right? look at it!
