Wedding Invitations - Antique Botanical
Flora and fauna, preserved botanical specimens, and handwritten field notes…Natalie and Christopher wanted their wedding invitations to feel like flipping through an antique nature book. We searched out authentic botanical engravings and historically appropriate fonts, letterpress printing them in black on soft off-white cotton paper. Of course, we used thick 100% recycled cotton paper and 100% vegetable based inks. Every letterpress printed piece is brought to life one at a time, hand fed through an antique printing press that creates a deep textural impression, and crafted with artistic attention to detail.
