This piece is an interpretation of a Mexican Colonial wedding trunk, made with reclaimed ash. All joinery is hand cut. The hardware was made by a blacksmith in Zacatecas, Mexico. The finish is layered stains in ranging from blond to walnut, penetrating oil and pigmented paste wax.
