The table stands 20" tall and the top has a diameter of 16"
I take great care in selecting beautiful pieces for the top and careful attention to grain patterns for the leg. As you can see in the detail pictures I have developed a unique joint that is very strong allowing the table to support a considerable amount of weight.
The name comes from Salt Spring Island Canada, where I was living when I first made this table. It was in an art show at a local gallery and a newspaper article featured it calling it a "Whale Tail Table" the name just stuck.
