Wheat Field Supplemental Warp Fabric

Hand Woven Fabric is a very special thing to work with. Your finished product will certainly be uniquely yours. This particular sample fabric reminded me of a wheat field waving in the breeze just before harvest. This piece was woven using cottons, rayons and a slightly heavier rayon yarn as a supplemental warp. A supplemental warp means that some of the yarns sit more on top of the fabric to give it a little more texture and interest. This piece is more of a mid weight which would be very appropriate for a lined or unlined jacket, cape or where ever your imagination takes you

My fabrics are usually 25" (65cm) to 35" (90cm) wide and can be woven up to 10 yds (9m)

All fabrics are preshrunk so they are no surprises for you

Pricing is per yard

Tips on sewing with hand wovens and care instructions are included
