White Oak Dining Table With Sideboard And Chairs
This Dining table set was made for a family that enjoys entertaining small and large groups. The table comfortably seats 6 people. With two extensions it can seat 10 comfortably and up to 12 close friends. The extensions are nestled under the table top and are pulled out using French traditional construction techniques. Both the table and the side board have an ebony inlay around the outer perimeter. The sideboard has 3 drawers where the customers store candles, silverware and table linens. The design of the legs for the table, sideboard, and 6 chairs are the same. All joints are sturdy and long lasting because they are constructed using mortice and tenons. I never use metal screws or nails because they tend to become loose over time.
The six chairs are upholstered with fabric chosen by the customer.
