This is our medium sized wine barrel sphere and stand. This item is made entirely from reclaimed wine barrels from Sonoma, California. We take the barrels apart and select the best wood staves and metal hoops to make this garden decoration. The barrels are made from French Oak which is a very strong and stable wood. The barrel hoops are made from galvanized steel and also very sturdy and stable.

We clean, sand, and coat the 4 staves with an outdoor , water resistant sealant. We then mount the 4 staves together to create the base of the unit. There is about 4 inches of extra wood on the bottom to be used when digging the hole into the ground to help with support. Then a decorative hoop is wrapped around the stand to complete the look.

The sphere is made from the wine barrel hoops. We clean and sand the hoops , cut them down to 18 x 18 inches, and then mount 5 of them together with carriage bolts. Then the sphere is coated with an outdoor uv and water resistant sealant.

The sphere is approx 18 x 18 inches and weighs approx 20 pounds.

The stand is approx 15 x 15 x 24 inches and approx 15 pounds

The total dimensions of the sphere and stand are approx 18 x 18 x 40 (length x width x height )
