The function of the bottle open uses a nail head to fit under the bottle cap and is lifts the cap up and off as the handle tilts back. A magnet is placed on the wood in this location to catch the bottle cap as it comes off.
This bottle opener also has a magnet on the out side surface for mounting to metal surfaces like a refrigerator for example! It can also be hanged from the leather strap on the back side or carried in your pocket!
