Wood Initial Wall Plaque Sign Harlequin Scrollwork Scroll Border Any Colors Any Letters Whimsical
When I stumbled across this wood plaque with its detailed scroll work and perfect shape, I HAD to think of something to do with it. My mind was racing!!!
While my mind is still racing, because the possibilities are ENDLESS, I started with this sophisticated and whimsical monogram/initial plaque. I made it for me!!
You can see here that I chose high contrast colors and the harlequin pattern, painted the scrolled perimeter in black (since my house is white) and painted the letter S in bright red - trimmed in gold leaf (of course). It's the perfect combination for the front of my home. Yet I have brought it in many times to hang on the wall. I just can't decide where I like it the best! I need to make myself another one....or two.
But this next time, I want to use different colors. You'll see. I'll post when they're done. Can't wait!
