Wood Veneer And Leather Wreath
I am always striving to try something different. In a way I wanted to revamp the wreath by using not so common materials. I succeeded. Leaves, cut from maple wood veneer, cover a 12 inch Styrofoam wreath form. Then, using suede leather two different shades, I created leather rosettes. For contrast I burned designs into some of the leather. The end result... a beautiful and completely one of a kind wreath.
The wreath measure 17 inches wide by 17 inches tall, tip to tip. Because the leather and veneer are dyed please display indoors, out of the elements to insure the color does not bleed or discolor when exposed to water.
