This piece is based on a map circa 1700 so the French words you see printed may not be spelled correctly according to French grammar and spelling today, but it is exactly as the original print. This is a very old map and spelling/grammar has since changed.
The map itself is maple, with a hardwood frame of either maple or oak, with options of leaving it natural or stain. Overall Dimensions: 16"x12".
