The sea animal hooks are perfect for your ocean home.. Use it as a towel hook, a key hook, or perhaps in a child's room for their pajamas. Everyone can use more hooks. Great decorations with a function.

The sea hooks are cut from 1/4 inch engineered birch wood. The item is stained to allow the natural beauty and grain of the wood to show thru. There are various stain colors available. After stain has dried, I apply 2 coats of a clear protective coating. Between each step, I sand again to ensure a smooth surface. Hooks can also be painted rather than stained. The actual hook is made of steel and painted black. A stained or painted wooden sphere is attached to the end to provide a finished look and prevent snagging.

Size of octopus: approx.5 1/4" wide x 4" high with hook extending 2" below.

Size of seahorse: approx. 4" wide x 6" high with hook extending 2" below

Mounting: There is a wooden mount attached to the back which allow the hook to slide over a screw or nail head and hold securely to the wall. (screw or nail not included)

The hooks make a great addition to a child's room. They also work well in bathrooms to hang towels or by the door as a key hook.
