Personalized Wedding Aspen Or Birch Log Wall Hanging

This personalized handmade woodland wedding ceramic tree trunk log is hand carved with your name, a saying, a date in a heart and is a beautiful way to commemorate Valentine's Day or say congratulations to a graduate, a wedding or anniversary couple, BFF, someone who has gotten a new job, new parents or baby, a new house, retirement, engagement, etc. It would make a unique keepsake, for him, her, grandma and grandpa, mom and dad, best friend, etc.

I create these aspen (some call them birch) tree trunks out of stoneware clay, carve in the knotholes and lines that are so indicative of the quaking poplar tree (you might know it as a birch tree in the East) and then I etch in your message before the first firing in the kiln.

Pottery stains are used to bring out the carvings and the color of the aspen leaves that I attach. Then in the final glaze firing, I only glaze the leaves with a glossy translucent glaze which provides a wonderful contrast to the unglazed matte finish on the rest of the tree trunk.

It comes ready with hang with a wire attached on the back.

These measure about 17.5" high x 3.25" across and are around 2" deep. It will take me about 4-6 weeks to complete a custom order for you.

If you'd like a gift card enclosed with this item, leave me the wording and I'll be sure to include it for you.

Don't miss out on this one-of-a-kind personalized creation: Order now! :-)
