Reclaimed "sinker" birch dining table with extensions that stow easily under the ends of the table.
This table has a natural oxidized finish which has been protected with layers of tung oil and topped with polyurethane. It will last a lifetime with minimal upkeep.
The old growth birch was recovered from logs lost to the bottoms of lakes and rivers in Maine over 100 years ago. It has exceptional figure and is unusually hard. More like a rock maple than new birch.
X base constuction.
