The warmth, depth and striking grain pattern of this very beautiful reclaimed elm wood slab sits in juxtaposition with a very original angular and geometric chrome powder coated steel rod base welded out of 3/8 and 5/16 steel rod.
You won't see anything quite like this as it is an entirely original creation!
This slab was reclaimed from the Cleveland metro area and sat in our shop until i had an idea on what base to create that would do it justice.
-Walnut butterfly keys have been placed in two areas on the slab to stop checking/cracking and add a nice detail.
-Finish schedule is a hand rubbed oil finish with a commercial grade matte topcoat protect and seal the beautiful wood underneath.
-Sanded dead flat in our widebelt sander.
