We look beyond the 4Cs

With diamonds, there’s more than meets the eye. Or the microscope. We evaluate diamonds on more factors beyond what the 4Cs say, helping us find value and great deals where others can't (or won’t).

These diamonds are nearly identical, except with a small difference in size - and a big difference in price (almost 20%!). For a round diamond, 0.04ct amounts to about 0.15mm of difference in size - roughly the same as the diameter of a few strands of hair. Prices jump at “magic numbers” like 0.5ct, 1ct, 1.25ct, and so on. If you’re willing to come in just a little under those, your eyes won’t know the difference, but your wallet will.
